From China’s Most Competitive Market to the World

For many companies, entering the global commercial laundry market begins with finding an opportunity.

For Oasis, it began much earlier—with competition.

China has one of the world’s most competitive manufacturing environments. In commercial laundry, the market has historically been driven primarily by demanding On-Premise Laundry applications across hotels, hospitals, industrial laundries, and other high-volume operations, alongside professional dry-cleaning applications. Traditional vended laundromat markets have never been the dominant model.

That environment shaped Oasis from the beginning.

When equipment is expected to operate continuously under demanding conditions, customers do not have much patience for compromises. Reliability matters. Manufacturing precision matters. And above all, innovation matters.

We understood early on that there was only one sustainable way to remain competitive:

Keep building better products.

Instead of relying on local protection or simply competing on price, Oasis continuously invested in product development, engineering, and manufacturing capabilities.

Year after year, we put resources into R&D and production to improve our machines and introduce new technologies to an active and demanding market.

That process eventually established Oasis as China #1 commercial laundry equipment brand.

But we believe the story behind that position is more important than the position itself.

Three things have shaped the way we build machines.

1. Engineering Before Price

In a highly competitive market, reducing price is easy.

Building a better machine is not.

Our approach has always been to invest in engineering and product development so that our competitiveness comes from the machine itself—not from a protected market.

We believe that a manufacturing company cannot remain competitive by standing still.

Markets change. Customers change. Technology changes.

So we keep developing.

2. Manufacturing Control

Our entire manufacturing process is completed at our manufacturing base in Jinan, China—from raw materials and metal fabrication to assembly, testing, and finished equipment.

This level of manufacturing integration gives us direct control over the process instead of relying heavily on fragmented external production.

We also invested in more than hundreds sets of automated production equipment and assembly lines across our manufacturing processes, reducing unnecessary human intervention and improving manufacturing precision and consistency.

But automation alone does not create quality.

Commercial laundry equipment is still a highly complex product, and there are always stages where skilled people remain essential.

That creates another challenge:

How do you maintain consistency when people are involved in the process?

For us, the answer is process discipline.

Strict SOPs, detailed process control, quality inspection, continuous training, and careful management all play a role.

And there is another element that is sometimes overlooked:

respect for the people who build the machines.

A good manufacturing system is not simply about replacing people with machines. It is about using automation where it improves consistency, while giving skilled technicians the training, processes, and working environment they need to do their jobs properly.

Automation reduces unnecessary variation.

People provide judgment, experience, and responsibility.

Together, they create quality.

3. Continuous R&D

Perhaps the most important part of our competitiveness has always been R&D.

We do not believe that a successful product should be the end of development.

It should be the beginning of the next one.

Our experience in the Chinese market gave us confidence in our engineering and manufacturing capabilities. It also gave us the confidence to take those capabilities beyond China.

But entering international markets brought a completely different challenge.

The World Was a Different Market

When we began expanding internationally, we quickly recognized that unlike the mature vended market in North America, the Asian market offered plenty of room for growth.

However, we could not simply take a product designed for the other market and assume it would succeed there.

So we listened to the market.

We studied the way laundromats operate, the problems owners face, and what customers actually want during a typical laundry visit.

That led to the development and launch of our professional vended laundry equipment range — making OASIS the very first China manufacturer producing this type of machines back to 2014.

Our experience with heavy-duty OPL equipment and dry cleaning machines became the foundation, but the products were developed with international vended applications in mind.

And the response gave us confidence that the engineering capabilities we had built in China could compete on a much larger stage.

But we still weren’t satisfied.

Because we saw another problem.

What If Laundry Didn’t Have to Work This Way?

The traditional laundromat experience is simple:

Wash your clothes.

Wait.

Move heavy, wet clothes to another machine.

Wait again.

For customers carrying large loads of laundry, this process can mean spending well over an hour at the laundromat.

We began asking a different question:

What if washing and drying did not have to be two separate processes?

That question became the starting point for another major R&D project.

The result was the Oasis High-Extraction Single-Drum Wash & Dry Combo Machine.

One machine.

One drum.

One automated cycle.

Wash and dry together in around 50 minutes.

The idea was not simply to build another machine.

It was to challenge an old way of doing laundry.

Customers no longer need to queue for two machines or manually transfer heavy wet laundry between them.

For operators, the value goes beyond convenience.

A faster and simpler customer experience can make an individual laundromat significantly more competitive within its local market.

And in markets across SEA and Asia where the Combo machines have been introduced, its reception has demonstrated something important to us:

Customers are willing to pay more when technology genuinely saves them time and makes their lives easier.

That is the kind of innovation we believe in.

Not innovation for the sake of adding features.

Innovation that changes what people expect from a product.

From China to the World

Our journey from the Chinese commercial laundry market to international markets has taught us something simple:

Strong manufacturing is the foundation. Continuous innovation is the future.

China gave us a highly competitive environment in which to build our engineering capabilities.

Our Jinan factory gave us the manufacturing foundation to turn those capabilities into reliable equipment.

And international markets have given us the opportunity to test those capabilities on a much larger stage.

Today, Oasis is continuing to expand globally over 100 countries.

We are not interested in simply exporting machines.

We want to work with global partners who understand their markets and share our belief that commercial laundry can be more efficient, more reliable, and more convenient.

Our next chapter is global.

And we are looking for distributors and regional partners who want to build that future together with us.

Built in competition. Engineered through experience. Designed for the world.

If you are a commercial laundry equipment distributor, dealer, or regional partner interested in bringing Oasis to your market, we would be glad to start a conversation!
